Silent Hill 2 Reference in Reanimal?

I was hoping to have some time to write about Hellblade before completing Reanimal. However, once I started, I was simply hooked. I couldn’t stop thinking about getting through the next section and what new horrors I would see. Reanimal is beautiful and unique. It does still have some obvious inspirations and references, which I am a big fan off.

One that caught my eye. I believe to be a nod to Silent Hill 2, where James finds the gun in the apartment building.
